We would certainly recommend Pound Cottage, the cottage was central to exploring coast and Dartmoor, it was warm, cosy, and spotlessly clean, equipped with everything one would need. The owners were charming, and could not have made us more welcome. We will certainly visit Pound Cottage again.

Old pound cottage is the most relaxing holiday we have ever had. this beautiful cottage is set, in beautiful surroundings. Our hosts (Mike and Gerri) made our holiday from start to finish, they are a warm and friendly couple, and very helpful. We would recommend this cottage to anyone.

The accommodation was extremely clean & ideal for 2 people. The hosts were very warm & welcoming & could not do enough to help. There were plenty of places to visit in the area & our hosts were always willing to suggest places we might not have known of.

The cottage was beautiful, Mike and Gerry went out of their way to make us welcome, nothing was too much trouble to them, they had plenty of information to give us and advised us on places to visit (we're National Trust members) and we received a warm welcome and asked about our day each night we returned. The cottage itself is ideally situated about 20 minutes ot half an hour to all the local places of interest, a couple of minutes to get onto the motorway. I would highly recommend this cottage to anyone wishing to tour Devon.
